Night of European Literature

On 16 and 17 May, The Night of European Literature celebrates 'the Library', in collaboration with the Amsterdam Public Library, which celebrates its centenary.

Twelve writers and poets from all over Europe will talk about accidental encounters with books and people, about the first time they have ever visited a library, about nostalgic longing for paper and dust and endless rows of books; about the internet as a place where ever all texts are digitally accessible. About the past and future of reading.

Thursday 16 (7-10 PM) and Friday 17 May (1-5 PM)
