In March 2020, The Rotterdam Philharmonic is touring the US with their chief conductor Lahav Shani. The orchestra is world-renowned for its acclaimed recordings and innovative audience approach.
Lahav Shani is the youngest chief conductor in the orchestra's history and guest conductor with several leading European orchestras, e.g. Berlin Staatskapelle, Vienna Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra and many more.
The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra has its home in Rotterdam's Doelen Concert hall, but they can frequently be heard in the most prestigious halls at home and abroad. They reach an annual audience of up to 200,000 people, among which a considerable amount of young people.
On the programme will be music of Brahms, Bartók or Beethoven, accompanied by Emanuel Ax on the piano.
The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra will perform in Greenvale, New York City, West Palm Beach, Miami, Berkeley, Palm Desert, Costa Mesa, Northridge and Santa Barbara.
