Geuze combines a love of land and nature with modern urban design and planning. He holds his generation responsible for a catastrophic idleness which, chiefly in the Dutch Randstad, destroyed both urban and rural areas. In his view city and country are no longer at loggerheads. Connection to place and history is a constant theme in his work.
