Elections in the Netherlands. Blue and Red Join Forces

In September 2012 the liberals (VVD) won the elections in the Netherlands (41 seats on 150). The social democrats (PvdA) were the party that came second (38 seats). The two parties are full of contradictions, yet their leaders Rutte and Samson were done and dusted in five weeks. A new government was formed. Substantial savings are to be made by it.
