Francine Houben from the Delft firm Mecanoo is the leading female architect in the Netherlands. Beauty is certainly not the only thing Houben aims at in her work, but it is undoubtedly the common denominator in Mecanoo's oeuvre, which ranges all the way from street furniture to large scale-urban planning and is already very extensive
