The Amsterdam photographer Jacob Olie Jacobszoon (1834-1905) was not a professional photographer, but, despite an industrious and eventful life, he found time to take some 5000 photographs. All his photographs have been preserved and meticulously restored by the National Photo Restoration Studio. Most of Jacobszoon's photographs are cityscapes that speak for themselves in all their clarity and simplicity, saturated with light and love
