The Long and the Short of It . Short Film in Flanders

A survey of recent short films in Flanders. The author believes that the Flemish short film would benefit more in the medium term from forceful acting projects that from the familiar Flemish ‘serieux'. He also thinks that the new digital media will in any event exert a great influence on the production-methods of the short film, which will become a technically more accessible genre - at least for the makers.
