‘We pay too much attention to ourselves'. The Netherlands and International Cultural Policy

'All that Dutch' is a varied collection of articles and opinions by those responsible for making and implementing international cultural policy in the Netherlands. The book does not make happy reading, because it gives the impression that complete chaos reigns. The author ends her review on a positive note though: 'Come on, Holland, enter into confrontation, devise new and clever methods, invest in interest, but above all: be proud of the quality of the work produced by Dutch artists, both now and in the past, and let the whole world see how just proud you are! '
