Bullhead Illegal Hormones for the Mass Market
(Erik Martens) The Low Countries - 2012, № 20, pp. 272-273
This debut film by the Flemish director M. Roskam has been described as a tragedy, with touches of Shakespeare and Martin Scorsese. Bullhead is not a testosterone film, but a film about testosterone. The powerful acting of M. Schoenaerts, who fattened himself up so as to play the role of a hormone farmer, should be noted. The film has been nominated for the 2012 Oscar Academy Awards.
