Ka(a)te Dejonckheere

Ka(a)te Dejonckheere (b. 2019) writes poetry, prose, performance and visual texts. As part of media collective STERKAT she explores the spaces between language and image. Her work has appeared in publications including De Internet Gids, Het Liegend Konijn, Tirade and Hard//Hoofd. Don’t confuse Ka(a)te with her non-fictitious alter ego Kate Dejonckheere (b. 2000), who studied Art History, Musicology and Theatre Studies and Comparative Modern Literature at Ghent University.
