Willemijn van den Geest: Touch Me Not

This week's Friday Verses are written by Dutch poet Willemijn van den Geest. We translated her poem Raak mij niet aan (Touch Me Not) which first appeared in Dutch in Het Liegend Konijn, a magazine for contemporary Dutch-language poetry.

Willemijn van den Geest (Kinderdijk, b. 1988) is a poet and writer living in Nijmegen. Her work was published in, among others, Het Liegend Konijn, Deus ex Machina and Kluger Hans. She also regularly collaborates with jazz musicians under the name Klinkende Kosmos, in performances in which poetry and music enter into a dialogue.
